JIM NEWPORT – Film Production Designer, Novelist & Blues Shouter

Thailand resident writer and designer James (Jim) Newport is the author of
The Siamese Connection, the fourth book in the Vampire Of Siam series – an epic tale that spans half the globe and a course of 150 years.

An Emmy-nominated Production Designer of both film and television, his film and TV credits include Bangkok Dangerous, The Shield and LOST. As “blues shouter” Jimmy Fame (the author’s musical alter-ego) Newport performs around the kingdom and is a regular guest at the Phuket Blues Festival. He has just released a CD Wanted Man – recorded entirely at
Phuket’s Legend Music studios.
